GETTING HELP WITH YOUR MEDICATIONS.
Remember that eligibility requirements vary by drug company, but in most cases, you may qualify for assistance if:
You are a U.S. resident or citizen.
You lack prescription drug insurance covering your medicine.
Your income meets the limits set by the drug company for the specific medicine1.
To apply, start by submitting an application to the company that manufactures your medicine. Keep in mind that most programs require annual reapplication. Additionally, nonprofit organizations like NeedyMeds.org and resources like Medicine Assistance Tool, RxAssist, and Veteran’s Affairs can help you find and apply for these assistance programs1.
For personalized guidance, consider reaching out to your local Epilepsy Foundation or connecting with an Epilepsy Specialist who can provide further information and support12. If you have more questions, feel free to call the Epilepsy & Seizures 24/7 Helpline at 1-800-332-1000 or submit a question online
